About the Psalms

The Book of Psalms is a collection of songs written by various people within the time of the Old Testament, people like Moses, King David, and King Solomon. But these songs are not your ordinary worship choruses or hymns. No, these songs are the very Words of God. These songs were not only written by King David for the priests of the temple to sing, but they were written by God for Jesus, our high priest, to sing and for us to sing today. The Book of Psalms are a means for us to unite with Christ through worship in His righteousness (Psalm 24), in His death (Psalm 22), His resurrection (Psalm 118), and His judgment (Psalm 9).

Below are some resources that are extremely helpful in explaining the Psalms and their role in our worshiping King Jesus and every day life.
